a rainy saturday
️Woke up to the sound of rain against the window. Didn't really set an alarm, I kinda just drifted awake slowly with the grey light coming through the curtains and the best possible kind of morning. I love rain the most, I'd marry the rain if I could.
I made a big pot of lavender lemonade (again, I added too much honey) and set myself up at the desk with my drawing tablet. I've been working on some cute looking illustrations and today the rain somehow made everything feel more pretty.
The plant shop by the sea
It was a good day. Visiting the plant shop felt relaxing (though I have so many plants in my garden), being around plants always does that to me. I'll love them forever. Best companions. And your most trusted friends.
Later I went for a drive, and even though the sun was high and a little too bright, the air felt refreshing. It would have been nice if I could walk by the shore but (blood pressure issues)...
Along the way I noticed tiny flowers growing by the roadside, small but cute. And there were many more cute ones inside the plant shop, I took some photos before leaving, and the Lady was being really nice.
On the way home I stopped for a slice of lemon tart at the bakery on the corner. Sat on the bench outside and watched people go by for a while...
Visiting the sea
It's still cold, but it's nice. I actually prefer winter over summer, the heat gets to me every time. I went for a stroll along the seashore, and it was really relaxing. I even went in for a quick dip, though not a full swim, and decided to take a few photos while I was there.
It was great spending time with Cael and Sarah again. We ended up staying until the afternoon and had a little picnic by the water...
I want to go back every single week. It was such a lovely day.Note: you always feel better after going outside.
site launch day and other things
It's live... my hobby web is officially on the internet and I'm genuinely happy about it.
I've been wanting to make my own little corner of the internet for so long, just me arranging pixels how I like. And now it exists!!
And other things...Time has been moving so quickly. And Sometimes I don't know how it does that. I've been meeting up with Sarah, very often, in our old hang out spot, that cafe has done some new renovations since we lasted visited, it's been a while, and it looks so cute now. I've been a little exhausted with some stuff, and she has been sweet about it. I don't know what the others are up to.
